Gary Holcomb, who spoke for the first time ever (anywhere!) at our Awaken the Giant 2009 Conference, will be speaking at New Life’s Men’s Breakfast a week from Saturday. From Compton to the Kingdom, our friend has come a long way. Come join us for breakfast and hear Gary share about the life of Naaman.

Free leaders’ training

We are planning a free Evening in the Wilderness for men’s small group leaders this fall. We want to encourage, inspire, and cast a vision for you to lead a men’s small group within your church. This event will be for both current small group leaders and those planning to lead a new small group. If you marked “small group leader” on your response card, we will be contacting you. Gary’s Video to show at New Life!

Gary Holcomb’s message from Awaken the Giant will be replayed in its entirety at New Life Pismo this weekend. Pastor Ron Salsbury is in the middle of a 7-part series on the seven deadly sins and has decided to use Gary’s talk to address the sin of lust. Many of you may not have realized that Gary’s appearance at Awaken the Giant was his first ever speaking engagement! This would be a great opportunity to share Gary’s powerful message of redemption with your family or friends. Service times are Friday Oct 30, 7pm (special time) and Sunday Nov 1, at 9am & 11am (remember to set your clocks back 1 hr on November 1 or else you will be 1 hr early!).
